Die Reihe der sowieso schon sehr starken Klavierspieler in Köln wird erweitert um einen weiteren Namen: Omer Klein.Und damit bei seinem Debüt im Loft auch nichts schief geht hat er sich die Mitarbeit der preisgekrönten Rhythmusgruppe Landfermann/ Burgwinkel gesichert.
TimeOut New York magazine has declared that "Omer Klein is pushing mainstream Jazz into the future."
Omer is performing regularly around the world and have appeared at Carnegie Hall, the Blue Note, London's Queen Elizabeth Hall and more. Since 2007 Klein have released three CDs that have received enthusiastic reviews from the international press. Klein's fourth album is scheduled to be released in 2010 and will be his debut CD on John Zorn's label, Tzadik.
